After performing a one-year internship in Italy, Jennifer returned to the Netherlands to start her PhD in the departments Orthopaedics and Molecular Epidemiology on the first of September 2013. Functioning as a bridge between different departments, her research will be focussed on predicting outcome after joint replacing operations by combining clinical data with more fundamental data on biomarkers and genes.
