In the May edition of LUMC's Cicero magazine an interview of Steffan Bos, PhD has been published. In this interview he explains his research, it's progress and his foundings.

Last September 19th, 2011, Bas gave a talk on the Dutch Famine Study at the Studium Generale in Utrecht.

As announced in September 2011, Professor Eline Slagboom received a Rainbow grant by the NWO's BBMRI-NL. The Rainbow project 4 is called 'Infrastructure for the application of metabolomics technology in epidemiology'and is set up by Prof. Eline Slagboom (LUMC), Prof. Dorret Boomsma (VUMC) and Prof. Cornelia van Duijn. Together they will receive funding for € 1.757 million.
The project started in September and will last two years.

... About Bas' recent study in the International Journal of Epidemiology that suggests that DNA methylation that occurs during development may increase the risk of heart attacks in women.
